How To Host An Epic Bachelor Party

HomeLifestyleHow To Host An Epic Bachelor Party

As any professional party planner will tell you, there is a lot more to hosting a party than simply arranging a venue and inviting some people along. Nowhere is this truer than when it comes to hosting a bachelor party, either for one of your friends or a member of your family. This party symbolizes the traditional ‘last night of freedom’ for your friend, and as such, the party needs to be something that they will remember for a long time.

Of course, it is important to take into account their tastes, so what exactly do you need as a baseline to host an amazing bachelor party? This article will walk you through it, so read on to learn more.

Staff

When you want to put together a bachelor party that nobody will forget, the first thing you need to consider is whether or not you will be hiring staff. Depending on the venue that is chosen, there may be staff already included, but if you are choosing to have a bachelor party somewhere that is not a bar, you may need to hire a bartender to serve drinks and mix cocktails. This will make everything easier and will ensure that you and your friends can have a good time.

Venue

Next is the venue, and typically, this is the last stop at a bachelor party, usually after the activities have taken place (which will be mentioned later). As stated earlier, you will need to consider the groom’s preferences. When it comes to choosing a venue, some guys would like a smaller, more intimate affair, and others would like to go to a nightclub. Just make sure that the venue is aware, even if it is a nightclub, that it is a bachelor party, as they may be able to offer you a separate room or a discount if there are entry fees.

Accommodation

Just like destination weddings, there are now destination bachelor parties.

Therefore, if you and the bachelor party are going abroad, then you, as the planner, will need to look into the accommodation. Even if you are travelling to a local city, it may be best to look for a hotel for you and the party to sleep in, as you likely will be out quite late and don’t want to be driving or travelling while drunk. This will allow all of you to enjoy the party as intended and will take the pressure off of needing to stay sober if that is the kind of party you are going for!

Food

Of course, you will need food, and for many bachelor parties, the best option is a buffet. Make sure you have searched for local caterers to oversee the planning of the menu and make sure that all of the dietary preferences and requirements are met for everybody on the guest list. That way, there will be great food that won’t consist of chips!

Activities

As mentioned before, many bachelor parties have activities that precede going to the venue.

So, if the groom is a fan of go-karting, paintball, or other activities, it may be worth looking into this as an option before you go to the venue and have drinks. This will be a great photo opportunity and will also be fun.
